Part of my long winter break, I was able to spend time up in Nor Cal. It was perfect timing because Art's sister, Yiyi, brother-in-law, Pete, their dog, Brinkley and their new family addition, Willa, were also in town.

Willa is about 5 months old and is super adorable. She has beautiful, big, brown eyes that she watches you with intently. She also has super chubby cheeks that you must try hard to resist from squeezing and kissing. She enjoys smiling at you and scrunching up her face. She's entering the stage of learning hand-eye coordination. With that, she's beginning to put everything she grabs into her mouth.

She loves listening to music, sleeping with her binky, being held facing out to watch everything going on, and shiny objects. She's generally a happy baby who loves meeting people, making different faces and learning every day.

You must have patience when taking baby photography. Make sure to crouch down to their level for better eye contact. Making funny noises or faces also helps catch their attention towards you and the camera. Prepare to take many photos and have your shutter speed on the faster end.
